Gorgeous One!
It’s Part Two of our Love Your Body series, and today I’m talking to a teacher who’s been at the forefront of the pole dance fitness movement since 2003. Her name is Clarissa Pierro, and if you’re ever in Dallas (or at my favorite exercise haven there — MoveStudio), you must take her class: she’s warm, disciplined and very, very smart about what makes women tick. She’s also astute about clearing up misconceptions surrounding the enterprise.
Personally, I can tell you from my one entire experience that pole dancing is much harder than you’d think: You will be bruised. You might get mad. You’ll totally love it.
Check out our interview below: as you’ll see, Clarissa is a classy, vivacious dynamo.
Here’s the interview — sexy pole shoes not included. (If you have trouble playing it, try right clicking it to download the interview: you also might need to download a Quicktime player.)
Clarissa’s company, by the way, is called Zensual Dance Fitness. Check it out here. She and her staff all rock!
Remember, this is all part of a series on Loving Your Body, so if you know a teacher or athlete or thoughtful person who’d make a good interviewee, please send him or her my way.
Hasta mañana!

P.S. Alas, no, I did not post yesterday: Daylight Savings needs to come with a better interest rate and ROI.
